Saying NO

Saying NO is tough especially when I don't want to say no.
Especially when it's something I want.
Especially when it's just easier, better and more fun to say yes.
Especially when it's flattering.
Especially when it's making me feel important, valued and desired.

Saying NO is tough but I trust that it's what I should do.
Especially when I've been hurt and broken.
Especially when I've experienced forgiveness and redemption.
Especially when I've been saved by grace.
Especially when I've learned to love myself the way You love me.

I delight greatly in the Lord;
my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
(Isaiah 61:10 NIV)

Brokenness Aside

Will your grace run out

If I let you down
'Cause all I know
Is how to run

'Cause I am a sinner
If it's not one thing it's another
Caught up in words
Tangled in lies
But You are a Savior
And You take brokenness aside
And make it beautiful
Beautiful

Will You call me child
When I tell you lies
'Cause all I know
Is how to cry

'Cause I am a sinner
If it's not one thing it's another
Caught up in words
Tangled in lies
But You are a Savior
And You take brokenness aside
And make it beautiful
Beautiful

You make it beautiful
You make it beautiful

'Cause I am a sinner
If it's not one thing it's another
Caught up in words
Tangled in lies
But You are a Savior
And You take brokenness aside
And make it beautiful
Beautiful

I am a sinner
If it's not one thing it's another
Caught up in words
Tangled in lies, oh yeah
But You are a Savior
And You take brokenness aside
And make it beautiful
Beautiful

You make it beautiful
Beautiful
You make it beautiful
Beautiful

You make it beautiful
You make it beautiful
