Grub


Oh what a beautiful brunch destination this is! GRUB may not be in Lady Iron Chef's list of top brunch places in Singapore but I reckon it should be in everyone's list. I saw it's a favorite as we had to wait for some time before being seated. Ambience is great, location not so, service was awesome, food was okay but healthier than others because natural ingredients are used. I guess what made it such a great place for eating is the people I was with :)






Unfortunately, they don't take reservations so head down there early! :)

Drury Lane



I stumbled upon this newly opened restaurant during lunch today and I loved how unassuming it but has lots to offer. It's a good place to hang out, meet friends and/or have a quiet read at their second level. They have all-day breakfast (yay!) as I love breakfast food. The bacon baked eggs I ordered is to die for! The staff were kind, helpful and cheerful which is a big deal for me who loves the entire dining experience and not just the quality of food.

On my return, I thought of getting a light meal so I chose their 1935 toast which is French toast with peanut butter and banana and it was very filling!

Night Running in the City Series: Pockets of Green


Tonight's run in the city was a breath of fresh air after all the F1 hullabaloo. Loving the city's urban open spaces and pockets of green - a symbol of hope, vivacity and life. I was energized enough to do 2 rounds at the marina, yeah! My trainer would be proud!

I received great news today which means I can experience more of this great country and share them with you :)

Night Running in the City Series: Formula 1 Grand Prix Edition


Last night's run turned out to be a leisure walk after being distracted by the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix installations and road closures. Saw a version of the city we only get to have this time of the year. Dare I say it was a pleasant distraction :)

Night Running in the City Series


Tonight's episode of running  in the city was spectacular! Full moon, caught the light show by MBS and saw the Merlion's new look at night. While mesmerized by this city's beauty, I remember how great our creator is, one who can make and restore things out of nothing. Almost 50 years ago, this country's fate was uncertain but it is now one of the stronger economies in the world and is very beautiful -  I'm always in love with it! Indeed, He makes beautiful things out of dust.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV)
